Aside from the canons prominently displayed, the website features tabs to become acquainted with the people of Cook & James, firm history, solutions, and offerings, and an “In the Know Zone” – a nod to “The Twilight Zone” offering another dimension of sight, sound, and real estate law. On this tab, visitors will find blogs about company updates, Employee Spotlights, and upcoming events; a second column will feature industry commentary pieces like Perspectives from Kara, Heather and other real estate experts, guest blogs, and other legal, real estate and technology insights. Regular news link updates will also be housed in the “In the Know Zone” to curate thought leadership and industry news the firm is reading. Media coverage from Cook & James experts will also be in this section.

The “Your Closing” tab will offer downloadable, printable closing checklists critical for buyers, sellers, and agents. Clients can also find convenient, secure access to the Qualia portal, the cloud-based software used by Cook & James uses to simplify title, escrow, and other closing transaction requirements, on this web page.

The new site’s design retains the Cook & James signature purple hue and regular website visitors can expect a dose of quick wit and puns generously sprinkled throughout the new site. Like the “punny” quips that appear in the firm’s monthly e-newsletter, these plays on words mirror the sharp humor and fast intellect that Cook & James brings to the closing table. There’s even festive, animated confetti that cascades over the page, indicating the celebration that commences when a closing is accomplished.
